IMPETIGO 5 Min. 1983, 16mm Color
Impetigo was my first experiment using the chemistry of film to effect the image. The concept was for the animation to look like it was in a very hot environment that the title suggests, a disease that makes you feel like your skin is on fire. The drawings were produced on white paper and acetate cells using powdered graphite, color pencils, chalk and water color. The animation was shot on 7285 EKTACHROME 16mm reversal film and printed on 7201 Color negative.
